From 2009 - 2017, Naomi was on the road to becoming a professional stand-up comedian. Her well-spoken manner and glamorous appearance left audiences surprised and thoroughly entertained when she shared her outrageous stories on stage. Her passion, for physical comedy in particular, naturally gave Naomi a unique style in delivery and instant likability always making Naomi very memorable.
Naomi’s influences have always been Rick Mayall for his brilliant facial expressions and quirkiness, Ricky Gervais for his daring storytelling, Joanna Lumley for physically fabulous comic timing, and Phil Nichol for his absurdity.
Naomi received a 4-star review for her debut solo show at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival, a 4-star and a 5-star review for her second show, again
at the Edinburgh Festival in 2013, and two 4-star reviews for the 2015 Camden Fringe Festival. Naomi always knew how to interact and play with her audience whilst literally shocking them with her almost unbelievable stories.
Along with outrageous and unexpected stories about all those relatable topics in life, Naomi was able to build a relationship with the audience.
Naomi's style and topics were always seen as brave, warm, and relatable. Stand-up comedy led her to do various modelling jobs, write for other comedians, and appear on a variety of TV shows.
Naomi is finally (if you have seen her shows you will know) happily married and a full-time writer - because writer really was her first and biggest passion.
